HR Business Partner


Your mission is to advise and support management teams and individual managers on all HR related issues that drive business performance within Volvo Estonia organization. As HR Business Partner you will be part of the company’s management team and will be supported by Volvo Group international HR community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy;
  • Supporting managers in handling leadership sourcing, talent development, succession planning, performance management, competency development and compensation & benefits;
  • Managing full lifecycle of recruitment for all functions within the company;
  • Responsible for HR administration i.e. HR databases, employment contracts etc.;
  • Managing and supervising outsourced HR services i.e. payroll, health and safety;
  • Responsible for Group reporting i.e. headcount;
  • Responsible for employer branding activities.

This role will give you the opportunity to lead and develop the HR strategy that drives business performance and you are fully responsible for the operational day to day HR activities.

To be successful in this position you need to be service minded, well organized and have excellent communication skills and you drive engagement. But most of all you are a true team player and you contribute with good team spirit. 

A great candidate has the following knowledge/experience:

  • We are looking for an HR professional with a broad understanding of HR processes. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business administration or related field or equivalent work experience is required;
  • In a company that values customer success, trust, passion, change and performance, you hold strong personal credibility, integrity and creativity;
  • Demonstrated experience with the full life cycle of recruiting and other HR management practices;
  • You have a “business mindset” and are interested in understanding the business you work within, with a drive for result and an ability to work effectively in a global matrix organization with a broad range of stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated experience in labour relations, employment law, and HR consulting;
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to interact with both technical and non-technical people;
  • As we are a truly global and diverse company, meetings and emails will be in English, hence you need to be fluent in both speaking and writing in English and native in Estonian;
  • Talent for administration and structure and eager for developing HR function further.
