Group PMO (Project Management Organization) Manager

Your main responsibilities:

The Group PMO Manager has the overall responsibility for managing all PMO related activities. PMO Manager will oversee and coordinate all VCP (Value Creation Plan) Module implementations and other significant company projects, organize controlling and reporting capabilities, work with all module sponsors and leaders to prioritize and schedule module tasks, metrics and timelines. PMO Manager will work with all module leaders to prepare for bi-weekly VCP update meetings and monthly Board meetings.

PMO Manager will coordinate with Finance and the PMO Controller to align module metrics, financial targets and activities to module objectives and business results.

PMO Manager will champion VCP module objectives and business expectations throughout the group by communicating high-level goals, initiatives and results to all levels of staff.

PMO Manager will support the effective use of resources for each module by working with module sponsors and leaders to coordinate the use of external advisors, to provide training to module teams and/or group staff, to use new technology and/ or to add people resources to achieve overall group objectives or to achieve specific module results.

You are a senior-level leader who has significant and in-depth project management organization functioning skills to champion greater experimentation and more-agile management of that function’s capabilities and will be a change agent, working within the entire organization and across the company to create competitive advantage.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with company management to align VCP initiatives with overall group strategy and results
  • Work with members of the Board to facilitate the comprehensive status reporting of VCP modules and company projects to include specific initiative priorities, objectives, timelines, key metrics, challenges and results
  • Work with shareholder’s teams to coordinate module resources, tasks, timelines, metrics reporting and general communication
  • Organize and coordinate modules functioning (eg. assign tasks to module leaders; review module metrics, updates and internal reports; schedule module meetings; support module reporting to Steering Committee and the Board; answer questions about deliverables, timelines, resources, processes, etc.
  • Identify where additional support /help /answers are needed
  • Propose actions to module leaders or facilitate idea generation
  • Escalate issues/concerns to Steering Committees if and when needed

Experience and skills set expected:

  • Prior experience with 5+ years of demonstrable experience managing highly complex project management office
  • A proven track record creating and implementing change deliverables across an enterprise program portfolio
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders across an enterprise with the ability to clearly articulate project management plans to a variety of audiences at all levels
  • Understanding and ability to execute best practice project management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Strong experience in collaborative stakeholder engagement and relationship management
  • Strong commercial acumen

  • Solid Leadership skills and experience
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree is required Business, Finance or other relevant areas (business master’s degree preferred)
  • Preferably experience of the LEAN business management system
  • Fluency in English and Estonian
  • The ability to build strong relationships
  • Mobility to travel up to 20% of the time
