Group Quality Manager

Your main responsibilities:

The Group Quality Manager is the Process Owner of the Total Quality Management (TQM) process across the group organization and functions. The main task of the role is through the TQM process to link strategic objectives to customer needs and expectations.

The Group Quality Manager holds the responsibility of mapping the process of TQM, setting the TQM standards, creating TQM documentation templates, chairing the TQM Steering Committee, training other Process Owners and for keeping the TQM Documentation/ manuals up to date. The Quality Manager is also responsible for several critical activities that are part of the TQM process; notably the activities on the field of System Auditing and Mystery Guest Management.

You are a senior-level leader who has significant and in-depth quality management skills to champion greater experimentation and more-agile management of that function’s capabilities and will be a change agent, working within the entire organization and across the company to create competitive advantage.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the organization’s TQM system conforms to the customer, internal and regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Review the existing TQM system, update the valid documentation and establish the missing ones, ensure smooth internal coordination and approval process of TQM documentation.
  • Manage the monitoring, measurement and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organization’s products and services.
  • Provide necessary assistance and technical expertise to all organization’s functions and projects concerning matters of quality.
  • Supervise the definition and implementation of customer satisfaction tools and activities; review the related processes to increase and exceed customer expectations.
  • Organize and carry out internal audits according to the requirements and make suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them.
  • Build sound working relationships with relevant stakeholders in the organisation.
  • Train and support management in quality standards and assessment.
  • Functionally lead and support a matrix team of Quality Management in countries; report to top management on the performance of the QMS (e.g., results of quality audits, corrective actions), including the need for improvement; Conduct periodic management review meetings.
  • Keep up on standards, regulations/laws, issues, and news with respect to product and service quality.
  • Update job knowledge by studying trends and developments in quality management, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations.

Experience and skills set expected:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (quality management or business administration preferred)
  • Prior experience with 3+ years’ experience in a leading role of quality assurance
  • In-depth understanding of quality management procedures and relevant legal standards
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 or relevant
  • Experience working in a matrix organization; strong experience in collaborative stakeholder engagement and relationship management
  • Ability to use initiative and make decisions autonomously
  • Capable of adapting to a fluid, dynamic environment; ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed analytical and reasoning skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage projects
  • Proficient user skills working with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Fluent English (written and spoken), Russian is an advantage
